Have just purchased a 2018 Macan S and I am loving it as a daily, amazed at the amount of VAG parts on the it... good old parts bin engineering.

Welcome to the forum. You'll find there's more to the Macan than a collection of VAG parts.

Enjoy your Macan :D :D

I've never had a problem with VAG parts as long as they are reliable. Lots of great Audi engines :D :D

Indeed, i do have a 2000 A6 4.2 V8 widebody which is still a great car to drive and no issues with timing chains ;-)

Welcome.

Good choice.

Take an image of your driving license and the vehicle log sheet, then download the My Porsche app and register yourself and the vehicle. You will then be able to access the services available.

If you are unsure of what was an Option that was included then take the VIN number to an OPC they can advise what was the exact spec.

Hopefully your S will have all the essentials that you need.

The V8 is probably a similar engine as fitted in the Panamera (for a while). It is a brilliant engine :D :D
