Yes, agree on those points entirely.

…but that looks truly dreadful as a colour! 😳
It would need a lot of reds getting rid of and even then it’s just a dark burgundy to my eyes - shocker.
Looking at that CRM macan I can't say I am a fan of it either. Maybe its the unpainted accents that make it look underwhelming
To be fair, it was covered in what must be several weeks worth of dockside gore but I don't think even a wash would save it for me.
Surprising because the Panamera (from pics admittedly) looks quite reasonable in it.

I don't know whether they have it in as a demo or a customer has bought it, but if you (or anybody) are near Towcester happen to pop in in the next few days and catch it after its been scrubbed up a bit, I'd like to see some pics.
Though it'd have to be one heck of a valet to change my particular mind.

I've tried three times recently to catch their CRM Panamera on the premises without success, I could potentially make a special trip from Sheffield but for now it's still an outside chance...

It’s interesting that the blackouts are larger on the top of the windscreen on the one car which also seems to have Active Cruise Control.

And, I’m not a fan of the colour but I’ve also ordered a white car. If only Carmine Red was a bit more reasonable in cost…

CRM is NOT the same on a Panamera as it is on the OPC sample or the Macan at Silverstone OPC! Sad, I know, but after an appointment at Stockport yesterday to "finalise" my spec and being underwhelmed with the CRM sample, we popped the 40 mins down to Chester to check out the colour on their approved Panamera. Despite the biblical rain it looked excellent, D Silver was binned. So, to my surprise, this morning it was suggested that, "since it's a lot of money and we'll be stuck with it, let's go and see it in the sunshine." Who could argue with that? It's only 2 hours each way, but in a Macan. So, I says, better to go to Silverstone and see it on a Macan (Google says 5 mins less) phoned first, obviously. "Yes, we have, but its sold, out the back and out of bounds", "Oh please, we won't even touch". Into the car and on the M1.... Bloody glad we did. If it's metal flake in there then the flakes used for the Macan are only a tenth of the size of those on the MY22 Panamera, JUST visible under direct sun but not good enough, sadly. Back to square one, Dolomite.

CRM is the most underwhelming colour in the range imho.
I’m more and more impressed with white (with the right black accents) but any of the lighter tones really suit the Macan. Silver looks excellent imo and not too common either. CRM? think 1980’s Leyland burgundy 😂
