I suspect the attitude to that varies with OPC's, my current one only deposits for announced cars, others will grab any money going.....
Yes, exactly the impression I've got.

My brains as slow tonight as the service in the North Norfolk pub I am trying to dine in. Of course the EV turbo is not announced yet, so I assume mine and your OPC are not taking any Macan EV deposits yet.

Leeds are taking £1K deposits for the Macan EV

You’ve only got to spec up a decent spec e-tron to get an idea how much the Macan EV is likely to be at launch and it’s eye watering.

They have orders for over 60 electric macans but they expect that to drop away as people realise this is initially turbo replacement and will therefore be £80k plus !
Is that official the first Macan EV will be a turbo?

That’s what he said which iirc is how the Taycan started - turbos first then lesser models to follow

Guess there is logic in that and why the turbo was removed from the current lineup instead of making a 500bhp ICE version etc

Makes me laugh how they give particular models the name Turbo when they either don’t have one at all, or every model in the range actually has one or two :D

Yeah, like the days when someone mentioned Porsche and you immediately thought Sports Car.
