I don't think it's that bad but as soon as the repairer finds out it's going through the Insurance the £'s are added on. They have no idea whether the inner door frame is buckled, they are just guessing. My local body shop will repair for £1,200 and they work on high value cars, including Bentleys. If you are referring to the "Subframe" of the actual car then there's no way that this has been damaged.
Either way you are clearly going to need to sell it mate. You can’t possibly drive a damage repaired car - intolerable… 😂😂
I never become too attached to my cars. This one will be gone by the end of the year, I think.
I wasn’t being serious Mack, it’s only superficial, only you (and the forum) will know when they fix it 👍

Hey, I'm not shifting it because of a repair, that's unimportant to me as it will be done and after a couple of weeks forgotten about.
But with this car my usual 2 year itch has come early 😊

You’ve only had it a few weeks Mack, what’s brought this on? What’s not floating your boat??

Frankly it's a £50-60k car in £80k clothing cos it's a Porka. I'll probably test the used car market before year end and if I can achieve near or more than purchase price I'll move it on before the bubble bursts for good.
