It’s an aspirational brand hence owners are generally happy once they get there and we tend to like our choices.

2nd placed Tesla - Average share of owners with faults = 44.00%
6th Jaguar with 40.35%
8th Volvo with 27.65%
14th Land Rover with 42.15%

Porsche compares quite well with 29.63%

Exactly, and some of those 29.63% will be pretty minor issues.

Think about houses. Spend many hundreds of thousands on a new house and they probably have a fault rate north of 90%. ;)

Macan Turbo, zero faults.

Macan S D, zero faults.

Audi Q3, zero faults.

Jaguar X Type 3.0, one fault.

Peugeot 206 GTi, zero faults.

Not a bad average with my last 5 new cars.

All cars prior in the 90’s were Company Cars, of which all were new and each of the 16 cars had zero faults.

So goodness knows where the high percentage of faults have come from in the survey.
