Great video… he did say it had Android Auto I think, which could be a first indication for MY23, or an error🤔

Given that’s a ‘22 model I imagine it’s an error?

I actually found his sycophantic manner rather off putting. I'd give more credence to a pro testing the T against other Macans on a test course and then saying which one is the best handling. Not the best macan.

Best to give Zero credence to any review and drive the cars yourself.

But at the end of the day it is a heavy nearly two tonne SUV not a 718 or a saloon with sports suspension so Macan handling will always be a compromise.

Couldn’t agree more, the Macan is a great all rounder and defies logic for its size but it’s still a comfortable SUV, not a sports car.

I went to PEC specifically because I wanted to try out air suspension. The only vehicle they had with it was a T so that’s what I drove around the track & it drove pretty much the same as my 2109 S handling wise, but was desperately slow. It didn’t help that the instructor did not know how to activate the manual mode, he thought it would only work for few seconds & then default to auto. Google help me find the right button, it didn’t make much difference.

In my view the T is not cheap enough to accept the shortcomings, especially given the Gen 3 S has more power than my 2019 model.

Spec a T as you’d want a Macan, then spec a S to the same spec. The difference is quite a bit more than first appears.

I did this Crockers and the difference was just under £5k or around 8% premium. Having driven a base and now owning an S I would pay this without a second of further thought.
However, the base I drove was not a bad car and certainly didn’t look as good as a T, plus waiting the thick end of 12 months for an S may well factor in my thoughts… 🤔

To be fair the T is replacing a Volvo XC60 so will feel much “sharper”. Haven’t driven the S as I know I’ll most likely want it and a further 12 month wait isn’t on. Maybe when I pick up the T I’ll put a deposit down on the S. Mrs C doesn’t want a 6 cylinder “thirsty” car. And to be honest I am at an age that I don’t hoon the car anymore. 🤣🤣. I love my little Golf GTi PP so if the Macan T feels similar to drive I’ll be very content. I drove the base and was pretty taken with its handling.

Decision decisions. 😎
