So bought this from Madelvic in gloss finish and MagSafe charger. It fits perfectly in the gen3 with no rattles etc and charges beautifully - super happy with this and can thoroughly recommend 👍

To clarify, Madelvic is a forum member on here who makes these with a 3D printer 👍

Can you show a picture showing more of the car. I’m having problems visualising it.

Have rotated so you can see seats and cup holders in the right perspective. Centre console lid is raised and this sits on top of the space underneath.

The OEM is on the side of the cubby and let's you use 90% of the storage space without any obstruction.

Thanks Jon! Yes it works with a case on the phone. It’ll take most iPhones but not the Max models as they are simply too big for the console. Huge original thread on here with almost 30k hits. Never imagined that would happen😎

I think I would prefer what you have just fitted as I have the OEM one in my six month old GTS and with both my iPhone X or my wife’s Samsung it is a waste of time… very slow to charge or won’t charge, phone overheats to the point that it can freeze (normally when using a satnav app).

I now, unfortunately, just use a cable from the power socket to charge my phone.

That sounds faulty. We both have Max iPhones so the one shown wouldn’t work.
