Is he the only guy/company offering this service?

DO you need it doing though? I'm yet to see ANY screenshots that actually show the extended screen being used by an app to display more information than the normal sized screen. Seems to me like a massive waste of cash.

No all apps are scaled to the new full size of the screen as they should be.....maps especially look awesome....and spotify looks bob on too...here is a pic of spotify running on my extended screen

So in other words, it merely stretched the Apple car play view but does not allow more apps icons to be displayed?

Right, but there is no extra functionality enabled by this. Yes the buttons are now scaled and you have a wider field of view in maps, but you don't get any information displayed that you didn't already have. It's like me getting a bigger monitor for my laptop and then just maximising the one window I had open.

For me this is worth the ££ all day long.
What’s the point in having a widescreen pcm unit when my display every time I drive is the same size as the Gen 1 Macan.
One of the reasons I went gen2 was because of the pcm.

I think this is worth paying for but the question is how much is it worth. It doesn’t add any more info just makes it bigger so to me would be worth about £100 to do - any more than that and it’s just a waste of money to me…

I agree Jon £100 tops, I actually like having the side pane showing some of the other widgets so not so sure id actually do it anyway

I agree with you Sean. Just been out in mine and I like the other info on display too. The size of the CarPlay screen is perfectly fine actually

At the price that is being charged I also don’t think it’s worth the money. At the most it probably just scratches an PCD itchy of not having it spanned across the screen.

I think the arrow still works on this full screen. You still can bring other info out to display on top I guess, the original 2/3 screen the arrow on the side is not clickable. But this extended screen should enable the arrow so that can bring the oem content out.
