LOL. Nah its been promised to my grandson on his 21st.
On my Volvo I use Pilot Assist a lot on motorways. Don't think the ACC works in the same way without one of those two items. I also like the blind spot monitoring when driving in the EU. But maybe do away with heated screen and remote easy access. Then one has to ask is Air suspension needed. Agree about wheels. The one I like are only £350 ish on the T but add another £1k on the S for same wheels. Also for lighter colours I'd want sideblades in same colour. Another £400 on the S. Or choose a dark colour. Also the extended leather is twice the price on the S than the T. Does one need sports tail pipes? 500 on the S.

So I'm happy with the choice of the T. But time might tell 😊
My version of yours. Still room to put 18w and full leather I think 🤔

That’s nice and standard white looks great btw. One comment - white with black accents and silver window trims?? Undriveable. 😂

I had a similar experience @Jon ,
I got a Macan 2.0L loaner, while my Boxster was in for a service. It was a gen 3 vehicle and felt very capable for city driving, but my Macan S gen 2 was more fun to drive on open and/or twisty roads.

So that's £70k. Add another £7k and you can have that on a GTS 😉 At first glance the saving on the GTS is about £3500 on options with your spec, and can potentially be a lot more for those who spec the S with the more expensive wheels and other things like the sports exhaust (£1700) which is standard.

Porsche definitely know what they're doing in terms of promoting higher trim levels 😂

Absolutely agree Ghost - I could have specced a GTS that I would have wanted for about another £3k at the time but just didn’t have the luxury of being able to wait 18 months!
Mine looks ok value now as while it is high spec, it was two price rises ago and finance was just over 5%.

I’m looking forward to mine in March but as I’ve ordered a second one already I’m toying with swapping that to an S. when I go on the PEC I’ll try the S and then make up my decision. Problem will be as to what options to drop to bring the price down to a sensible level. My problem is “it’s only x£” keeps popping up. In all honesty the S is £5-6k more than the comparable T.

Mind you this is from a moaner who ordered a watch for £6k but ended up walking out with a £9k one doh 🙄
You want to keep costs to a Sensible level?

Then you spend £9k on a watch when the time is always at hand on your iPhone.

Sell the watch and put the cash towards a decent engine in your next Macan.

Bling, forget

Only essentials are comfortable seats, PASM, Surround Cam and a spare so easily the costs can be constrained.

Yep that's more than fair enough. I can imagine finance now would be quite a rip-off considering how interest rates are climbing.

I'd managed to spec up an S up to £73k ish with the wheels, sports exhaust and interior package etc, and at that point I felt there was little point in ordering that over a GTS, and then the whole Python realisation complicated things further. However, even that is only £13k or so of options for what is absolute peak GTS, whereas the S was around £17k, so I'm quite content 🙃

I've had to wait longer for the watch than the Macan 🤣🤣

Yes the time is on my iPhone. But so is the engine in an Audi. 🙄

^^Wearing a nice timepiece while driving a nice car really completes that whole feeling of exclusivity.

And Porsche know this - that’s why they invite you to configure a Porsche Design timepiece to go with your car!
