Unless you drive on biliard smooth roads all the time....oh yes you do. The dismal GB roads with all their potholes. The bead gets minutely broken as the wheel assembly drops into and out if them them. So pressure is lost.Rarecolour wrote: ↑Thu Dec 29, 2022 2:13 pm Who has to adjust their pressures on a road car these days anyway?
Tyres and wheel rims are so good that you either have a puncture or not. You can usually tell by it not being round at the bottom.

Today's screen shot....spot the difference in pressures. I deliberately avoid any and all potholes too.SAC1 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 28, 2022 12:48 pmMy Porsche App tpms screenshot..which is the same info as the in-car display screen. On another day's trip end, all showed zero +/-0. Pressures not physically adjusted in the interim. Both times at over an hour after coming to rest. So no problem with tpms valves.Bluesnose1812 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 28, 2022 11:43 am Get your tpms checked mine has stayed constant, subject to the normal variences, on heating and cooling.

The actual pressures are checked with a Michelin dual barrel foot pump and are absolutely correct. Cross checked with a quality dial gauge - know which I feel is true.

Mine shows this, but it does vary on occasion ÷/- 1-2 psi. But I have not checked the pressures manually since I returned from a 4000 miles trip in august.

Sorry but I don't know of anyone (apart from you) who's had to do this in the last 15 years. My RS6 had low profile tyres and not once did the pressures need adjusting.SAC1 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 29, 2022 5:00 pmUnless you drive on biliard smooth roads all the time....oh yes you do. I've done over 26k in my works van over building sites, farm land, seriously rough roads and still not had to adjust the pressures.

In fairness, the front near side tyre on mine needed 3psi putting into it recently. All the other three were at the same pressure (and still are) as when I drove it out the OPC last April…

I suggest you ask any garage service outlet - main dealer or independent - if they ever need to (usually) inflate their customers' tyres to bring to the correct pressure when their vehicle comes in for service? I will be AMAZED if they say "no they're always spot on".

I don’t think I will do that Sac, I just don’t care enough about the subjectSAC1 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 29, 2022 7:41 pm I suggest you ask any garage service outlet - main dealer or independent - if they ever need to (usually) inflate their customers' tyres to bring to the correct pressure when their vehicle comes in for service? I check the dash display from time to time, and if I need to pump up I do - just saying three of them have stayed the same for the last eight months…
Don’t know if that’s unusual or par for the course - again just check from time to time and act accordingly
