Sorry for the boring question. Am at home and the car's 10 mins away. And Good to Know, not working.

What oil do I need for my Gen3 GTS? Think it's C30 0W 30? And Porsche recommend Mobil.

Thanks.

Yes the C is the important bit because of the need for low sulpher and other content to keep the petrol particle filter clear. On the Gen2 and Gen 3 audi v6 some OPC's are using 0W 20 C20 as well as 0W 39 C30 despite the under bonnet sticker on my 2019 carr saying only C30

On all piston engine cars some small quantity of oil ends up in the combustion chamber

So will 5l of Mobil 1 0w30 be enough for the 2.9L Engine?

I was charged for 8L of Mobil 1 0W30 at the end of July (MY20 GTS) so I doubt 5L will be enough.

Thx - do you mind sharing roughly how much they charged just for 8l of oil?

£165.02 for the oil plus cost of filter & seal and labour. The MOT was reasonable though (£52).
