Not sure about the rear lights, but the headlights have vent tubes on them, so will draw in damp air in some circumstances, leading to the common condensation.

It’s not just condensation so I can see how this will disappear?

So wondering if this needs to go back to OPC to sort out

I have this for a passenger in my light...
That looks like there’s a gap that it’s crawled through, doesn’t look tight enough

I've had 3 sets on the back of my 992 so far

It has to be bad for them to do it though

The Macans normally clear up

I would say "Misting" is acceptable, as I see on my headlight units, happened in other cars I have had. However from the pictures shown and what is big drops of water, I would be asking the OPC to change under warranty.

Water and electrics dont go full stop!! might be ok now when car is new, light bar is new and water possbly clean, but if its in there until it evaporates away, residue will be left etc, so over a far longer period, discolouration of internal of the lightbar, but possble corrossion of the LED electric strips etc.

I wouldnt accept that at all.

I have a tiny spider in mine, impossible to reach but yours looks reachable. I used a plastic toothpick which was thin enough to slide under the glass. Unfortunately my spider had gone too far in to reach so its now my mascot and goes wherever I go. I also get condensation in my rear bar in certain cold and damp conditions, but it soon disappears when the weather warms up.

Apparently from what I’ve read on the net all Porsche light fittings are vented rather than sealed BTW.

Sheffield OPC replaced my rear lights in December 21 to get rid of 9 or 10 dead critters, unfortunately I now have at least one more.

RGS, where is the aperture that gives them access?
