Yes, to be more accurate the PASM is set up as “GTS sport suspension” and is stiffer than the PASM set up with the “standard air”.Tracky wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 10:43 pmI’m not sure that 10mm lower means stiffer !Jon A wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 10:10 pmExactly that. The GTS air suspension is lowered by a further 10mm and is a little stiffer as a result.Wing Commander wrote: ↑Sat Mar 18, 2023 10:02 pm
It is to delete the 10mm lowering of the ride height.
The “standard” air suspension is still lower than non air cars but is not quite as low as the GTS version (by 10mm).
Some folks spec the non GTS version to give a slightly more compliant ride although I suspect there is not a lot in it in reality.

The delivery date is a moving beast. One way to find out would be to ask another OPC what the current wait is.

Opinions vary.
I personally would avoid the pano roof.
Some wouldn’t buy a car without one.
Some OPCs say it helps with resale (while they make money from checking the drain holes etc).
Some have had issues with a pano roof and would avoid them in the future...
You pays your money...

If it meant not having a sunroof, I wouldn’t buy a Macan. I just like the airier feel of a glass roof.
I guess the problem with blocked drainage arises after a few years if you park outside near trees.

I just placed my deposit for a Macan GTS here in the UK. The dealer has quoted me an estimated delivery of December 2023 - Jan 2024. Under 10 months doesn’t seem to align to what others are experiencing. Has anyone else been quoted this kind of time frame recently? Don’t want to wait all that time just to find out it’s more like 12 - 18 months.
The guppy front end doesn’t help!
Thank you for the responses regarding lead times. Will keep my name down as the 10 - 12 months looks realistic for a GTS. Had a nightmare waiting for a Taycan ST GTS, which I eventually cancelled as it went well over 18 months. Would like to get my foot in the door for other cars in the range and the Macan appears to be a great 1st step. Having owned a Tesla for a couple of years I have turned 180 on electric cars and would prefer internal combustion. I see the 911 (992.2) is going to have some improved naturally aspirated 4.0 options. Was a huge electric car fan (especially for family cars), i can safely say it’s a good 5 years away from being able to do 400 mile round trips with ease and even then I’m not convinced.

Ring or better still visit other OPC’s and specifically ones that are not belonging to the same group.
Find out the wait time for a GTS, but do not tell them you have placed a deposit with another OPC.
Tell them you can lockdown immediately they give you an actual build allocation.
If agreeable place another deposit with the OPC that seems to give the best option for you.
Deposits are fully refundable up to Lockdown of the spec.
Spec Lockdown is c6-8 weeks before the actual build.

10-12 months may be reality now - when I picked up my GTS the OPC said the order books (all models) were fully booked for '23, but orders for '24 had so far fallen off a cliff.
It seems the cost of living, uncertainty etc is starting to bite - but that was back in Jan.
