Just checking in to say hello.

Picked up my first Porsche, a new Macan GTS, 10 days ago. It’s also my first SUV, so a lot of change to get used to…

Thanks. I did lurk whilst researching before buying, but once faced with trying to learn the myriad intricacies of the car, it was clearly time to sign up!

I’m pleased with it so far. Bit of a sea-change as I ran a BMW 440i Gran Coupe from new for six years previously, so obviously there are aspects of the Macan that feel like a lorry by comparison and the V6 sounds and feels much gravellier than the B58 straight six (mine had the performance kit on it) - the whole car vibrates at a standstill in a way the BMW did not, even in Sport+, but then it corners with a dose more alacrity, definitely has even more oomph and is much nicer to sit in.
