I know it's taken me about 29 hours to get these posted, humble apologies...

There were these goodies in the boot and a litre of Mobil 1 was also forthcoming along with 380+ miles of fuel, so

Pirelli Tyres, I've never had them on any car before so will be interested to see why they get stick in these hallowed halls.
I've been taken by surprise by how different this car feels from the previous one despite such essentialy small changes.
1. Road imperfections much more noticeable. 20" wheels getting the "blame" although I'm not actually saying more feel is bad! I really felt, with the 18" wheels, PASM was superfluous as the different modes were virtually indistinguishable.
2. Feels more rooted to the road. Perfect as new set-up, Pirelli rubber, bigger wheels? No idea but none of you big wheelers have ever claimed anything other than better cosmetic appearance for them!
3. Even under 4,000 rpm the extra horses are apparent, it feels as if the wind is at your back all the time.
4. Sounds better (no sports exhaust remember)
5. The door closes with a better sound, could be the acoustic glass or maybe there was something wrong with the seal on the previous car.
6. Domite Silver makes a Macan look smaller than Volcano Grey does.
Other hot topics: panel gaps fine, paper manual present, surround cam picture good, comfort entry present, App not yet connected to car data (got location), PEC invitation absent (yes, I will, fear not!)
Any questions?
Sorry I'm Late!

Really nice Neil beautifully specced. Jury still out for me on the inserts but I do wonder what black inserts on pebble would look like
Still, all you need are the giant chess pieces now
Enjoy to the max and yes, big wheels just look better as you can see from yours - looks tip top

They've certainly attracted positive comments from two direction already. "Far better than on my Disco Sport" was one!Jon A wrote: ↑Wed Feb 15, 2023 5:35 pm Really nice Neil beautifully specced. Jury still out for me on the inserts but I do wonder what black inserts on pebble would look like

Really like the seat inserts. They catch the attention and break up the sea of black nicely. Don't know why the PASM seems ineffective, very noticeable on my 20"ers.
Hope you have many happy miles.

You misread, it was on the last one with 18" were it was hard to detect.Bluesnose1812 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 15, 2023 5:38 pm Really like the seat inserts. They catch the attention and break up the sea of black nicely. Don't know why the PASM seems ineffective, very noticeable on my 20"ers.

You got a cap!!!!!
Looking good.
Try parking up in a car park, observing the Porsche Parking rule, well away from anyone.
Then take images of the Surcam overhead shot and of the outside of car itself in the parking bay. You’ll then have a reference for any changes in the calibration.
Plus, don’t forget to log the mileage and actual fuel fill ups.
Enjoy
