It's time to change the tyres on my SD. Current Michelin Latitude Sport 3s have done 20,000 miles. Rears are down to between 3 and 4 mm and fronts are getting low and are worn on the outside edges - probably due to the heavy diesel engine and over enthusiastic cornering. Wheels are 20".
4 Latitude Sports come in at around £1,100 but can get Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetric 3 for £880 so quite a saving. Both options are N0 rated. Does anyone have experience of the Goodyears? Quite a saving but only wirth it if the give decent mileage and performance.
Thanks
Bob
It's new tyre time!
I’ve used the Goodyears on a Mercedes and now have them on my Golf GTi. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them on a Macan.

Had Goodyear on mine from new, had Pirelli on previous car and both fine. No experience of Michelin’s.

Have those Goodyears on my GTS in 20". So far handling, grip and comfort are equal to the Michelin in 19" that I had on my SD. The first set of those did 20,000m when I replaced at 20k miles. The Goodyears have done 11k miles and approx half worn and with less shoulder wear.bobajob wrote: ↑Mon Feb 20, 2023 1:38 pm It's time to change the tyres on my SD. I'd take the £220 saving.
