When I went for a test drive in a Macan a few weeks ago I was 100% set on one in Carrera White. Whilst there I saw one in Dolomite silver which looked like a smokey silver with a light blue tint and quite liked it. My wife isn't a fan of silver but I'm drawn back to it as it looked very smart. There doesn't appear to be many Macans in silver and I don't see many silver cars on the road these days , they're generally White . Any views on Dolomite silver and do any members have a Gen 3 in silver.

Completely and utterly subjective Scooby, go with what YOU like I would say.
Silver is nice and I don’t see many in Macans although super common in other cars, but then so is red and I love it….
My only semi objective observation is that the Macan’s lines appear more defined in lighter or medium shades to me, but this isn’t even a comment on colour, just shade 🤔🤷‍♂️

I think darker shades tend to blur the lines on most cars and I intend to have the sideblades in body colour which add a lot more detail to the side on lighter cars.
I had a silver 3 series BMW E36 coupe back in 1995 and changed it for exactly the same version in a dark blue a few years later - bad decision.

Neil a member on here has not long taken delivery of a Dolomite Silver S, looks very nice indeed. Interior black with pebble inserts.
I have to say my first Macan was Carrara White and I still like the colour.

...and here was me thinking "I wasted my time posting those pictures!" White was my first option but the stormtroopers look was vetoed by my style consultant, who typically changed her mind after seeing a few but by then I was set on silver.

I did find the pictures of your "S" , that's what pushed me over to Dolomite Silver , but was looking for a few more external shots ?? My style consultant isn't keen on silver but as she says, in all fairness ,"it's your car ,have what you like".

“It’s your car - have what you like”

Translated means. “Have silver if you really have to”

I should be collecting my Dolomite S next Saturday.
I was originally set on Volcano, but got all excited when Copper Ruby came out and swapped my build to that without seeing it.
Then I went on the PEC day and drove a Dolomite one, it looked well classy.
On the way home from there I dropped into Silverstone OPC where a new Copper Ruby was sitting waiting to be PDId - ugh, not for me. Looked dreadful without direct sun on it. So swapped to Dolomite and here I am, or will be next weekend.

Love those “tinted” rear lights on Dolomite. Looking forward to collecting mine. .
