I think the £60k was very much a tongue in cheek comment.

Re market crash, doesn’t look like OPC’s are of the same opinion. Several 2022 GTS albeit with tiny miles advertised at over £90k . Crazy prices. I would definitely consider selling the new one and keeping your current.

I hadn’t updated my signature to show the replacement will be Carmine red ….again. I have a rule to have a different colour on any new car. Makes it feel like you’ve changed. Initially last year I was hesitant that the red was too much in your face but now I just love it. So its Carmine red again.
The gap will be about the same as an average years depreciation. Ie same as 2nd or 3rd year etc. that’s fine by me especially as my warranty will be 3 years for the new car.
I had considered selling it straight away but having heard some horror stories about possible consequences as follows.
Someone locally to me ordered 2 land rovers, one of which arrived and he promptly sold it for a profit straight away. Land Rover found out and instantly cancelled his second order that was due to him within 2 weeks. He ended up with no car after waiting for 2 years. Most manufacturers don’t like profiteering from their products. I’m not going to fall out with Porsche.
It seems if you keep the car for a minimum of 3 months they don’t seem to care. Of course that involves a fair chunk of cash tied up. Plus I have changed the spec a little and added on more extras.

Sounds like you’ve thought it all through.
Good choice sticking with Carmine Red.
GLWS!
