More of a comment on the current version. Starting to look its age now imho.

I went through this thought process - would I regret buying a final year model and would it look old too quickly? I didn’t want an EV and soon as I drove the GTS I knew it is exactly what I am looking for, so decision made that the “classic” look will do just fine.
BTW, I also agree that the front on the EV is horrendous.
Arriving in June, all being well. Slightly tweaked to now include Bose - https://configurator.porsche.com/en-GB/ ... m=PS4LXHU0
Just had a thought, the EV has a unique selling point, in winter it can double as a snow plough

I personally prefer the current ICE Macan look. In fact, my favourite is still the Gen I. They got that spot on, and have been going backwards since then, design-wise, IMO.
Those wheels will deffo not be standard. Look like 22” at least!?
Looking at that Macan EV, if I was forced to go electric, I’d sooner have a Taycan.

I think everyone is getting a bit giddy over some dodgy photos or renderings here and maybe waiting for an actual UK car might be best…
Particularly as that front spoiler is literally touching the tarmac on one of those pics - I’m going to go out on a limb and say that’s not right…

Don't all EVs plug in?
Yeah, one of the photos looks odd and the shadow under the front spoiler seems wrong - as if the spoiler is scraping the ground on one side. You’re probably right - we should wait.Jon A wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2024 8:26 am I think everyone is getting a bit giddy over some dodgy photos or renderings here and maybe waiting for an actual UK car might be best…

It’s just the photo (it’s not a render) the clearance height on steel springs is 184mm. Still a big scoop though, would look a little better if painted body colour.
