Crayon S locked-down

Lovely car Simon, specced very nicely. As a Utd fan I am lucky enough to have the best colour, but crayon is good too…

I’m a black and white United fan, previous Macan, White, privacy glass, black hi gloss trim and side blades

Hi again all,

Well further to my original posting (viewtopic.php?t=12477&start=10) and almost a year of lurking, I've now bitten the bullet and e-mailed the OPC (Leicester) to lock-down my spec for June build (MY24) and July delivery, fingers crossed.

My hoped-for Shark Blue never materialised (without the ridiculous cost of PTS) and as a Man City fan, the prospect of driving around in a Carmine car was just too much (sorry Jon A !). To be frank, I wasn't overly keen on any of the offered colours but plumped for Crayon which I think looks classy and will brace myself for the 'primer' jibes. Driving a Phoenix Orange Evoque raised similar reactions - 'The Flying Carrot' being the most hurtful

I'm sure some will say I've over-specced the S and should have gone for a GTS......but the extra dosh and, more importantly, an extended wait mean the S was the best compromise for me.

I'm now off to talk to my detailer about ceramic coatings. I've previously been pleased with Gtechniq products but my detailer also offers Angelwax (Nebula-Graphene) - any experience of this on the forum ?

Anyway, trying to not get too excited........

Looks a nice spec that. I don't know why Crayon is so marmite a colour; I think it's pretty cool and while it's more expensive than the standard metallics, it's only the same price as Carmine. Could do with Crayon stitching inside but at the price for a bit of coloured thread I can see why you didn't go for that!

How do the silver sports tailpipes differ from the standard S tailpipes?
