I've never needed to carry enough stuff to warrant using roof storage, but now it looks like we'll be four up for a week long trip to France next year.
Can someone who's familiar with the products confirm what I'll need? Think it's these two items below (I have the factory fit roof rails):
https://shop.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/p/roo ... 5B04480220
https://shop.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/p/roo ... a8ce608bd1
If it is the above then it's not a cheap undertaking then!
Are there non Porsche versions or options? And do official / unofficial come up for sale 2nd hand often? There seem to be a few for sale on eBay but only for Gen 1 and 2 models
Thanks everyone. Appreciate the help

If I were doing this, I would go to Halfords and buy a Thule system for less than half the cost. Porsche don’t make these products, they just charge an extortionate margin!FirstSeaLord wrote: ↑Mon Jul 10, 2023 12:13 pm I've never needed to carry enough stuff to warrant using roof storage, but now it looks like we'll be four up for a week long trip to France next year.

Funny enough, I just changed my GTS order to not have roof rails so I now have a roof box and cross bars that I am happy to sell. These were used on a gen2 but I’m sure they would still fit a Gen3
Let me know if you would be interested and I will dig out the details.

Thanks everyone. All really useful.
Think renting is probably the best way for me as I'll only need a box very very occasionally, and I've realised that storing one that I've purchased won't be all that easy.
Steve - thanks - have emailed that company as they deliver to London which is very useful

I have a Thule setup on my Macan, you will need a fitting kit 186126 circa £46.00 and Footpack 710600 circa £110.00 you then need the crossbars , Thule do a few different types from the basic square bars (£60) to the Slidebars (£250) which I use for my kayak. I tried to get the 7106 Footpack used from ebay but bids were so high (£85 + postage) that I just bought a new set. Plenty of used crossbars on ebay , just make sure you get the correct length to fit the Macan.
