The kit came as a box section chassis, fibreglass body and a few boxes of bits. On seeing the delivery the wife said, "you will never build that" 18 months later got soaked taking if for the SVA test and it passed.
The guy in the passenger seat was 80, now 101 and could prob still get in it!

Traded the Tiger in for this Lotus Elise 111S. At least it had a hood but very difficult to get in and out of with it on!

A good Mk1 Lotus Cortina must be worth a fortune now! :)

OMG yes. This wasn't mine but my late brother's. He had some decent cars in his day... TR4, Couple of Cooper 'S's, MGB GT...

Nissan Sunny 1.6 GLX (parent's car!)
BMW 335i (my first car)
VW Tiguan (first baby arrived)
Macan SD MY2014 (second baby arrived)
Macan S MY2019

Unfortunately I might need to switch from a Macan just to keep the list interesting

Thinking a Bentley Continental now I'm graduating from car seats in the rear, anyone tried it as a daily driver?

£50-60k for a real nicely restored one.
They've been pretty much static at those prices for the past 20+ years now though.

Most fun to drive was the Reliant. My dad owned a garage and taught me to drive when I was 12 in a 62 Ford Galaxy. He bought the Reliant so he didn't have to drive me the 25 miles commute to school and back every day. I passed my test on my 16th birthday and at that age you're immortal and can drive everywhere at full throttle. Once you get the 3 wheel knack of throwing the rear out on every corner you can progress quite rapidly.

Today I just pootle about, driving on the limit with 10x the horsepower is impossible.
