Cars we have owned since passing test till present

Thought I would list all the cars me and wife have had from start to now (1975 till 2023)
Took us a while and brought back some good memories.
48 up to now including Company Cars
1st car - K reg Mini 850, think it cost £650 new bought in 1972, passed to me in 1975.
48th car - 22 plate Macan S,circa £70K

I can only manage a measly 16 cars from 1975. I tend to keep cars too long.
I started with a B reg Viva HA in which I learned to drive and pass my test. Cost 60 quid!
Finished with a 2017 Tiguan.
Macan S on order for 2024.

Ha! No idea. Will probably depend on how much I enjoy driving it, my continued ability to drive safely (hopeful some time yet) and the continued availabilty of new ICE vehicles. I would assume 3 years and then decide.

18 cars later and currently have a Toyota GR-Yaris and a Porsche Macan S

I have had 31 cars to date. Started with a Ford Bowden Special - a kit car - along the lines of a Lotus 7 / Caterham. This century (!) It was BMWs and then Mercs. The best being a BMW 525i.

Had the GTS now for 3 years, the longest I've ever kept a car. Definitely the best car I've ever had. Just don't know what to replace it with. So extended the warranty for 2 years.

I need to try harder as have had 17 since 1984. Having the same car (a 997 GTS) for nearly 8 years didn't help

First was a VW Beetle, and think I had the most fun in 205 GTi, R5 Turbo and Mk1 MX5. Bought first Porsche in 2008: a 997 C4S, and have stayed with them ever since. They seem to get under your skin
