UPDATE. Had a follow up with my usual SE yesterday. Did a run through of all the PCM bits they should have done originally. They accept the valet and prep was inadequate (car had polish smears down one side, sticky residue from protective film on aluminium inserts and rubbish in one door pocket! They blamed building works) and they will take in for full internal detailing Friday providing me I’m with a 911 loaner until Saturday. Apparently oil isn’t provided anymore and the key presentation box is out of stock.

They have addressed or recognised the issues but feel they haven’t tried to go the extra mile to apologise per se. Bet they still want 10’s on the survey though.

Think Reading may get my business next time, but as both part of PRG perhaps no better.

Deflating customer service, however can’t fault the car and that’s the main bit.

No car goes like a loan car , particularly if it is a 911!

Ps don’t crash it though or you aren’t used to them!

By way of update: car has been fully detailed, presentation box sitting in the front seat waiting for me, PCM/app issues sorted, oil in the boot and a full tank of fuel. Can happily say Guildford have redeemed themselves, especially with a 24h loan of a 911 C4GTS, which I put 200 miles on and managed to not wrap around a tree!

The variance between OPCs has been an eye opener and my first thought was that Porsche GB cannot be happy about it, but actually their OPCs are as variable as the rest!
