Given the surplus stock and short lead times they'd be fools to increase prices now.
Hope you're right.. I'll have to wait around 8 months from order tho... Same as my first order back in 2021.

Did you ever establish whether Audi/VW raised their prices?

I can confirm that to date there have been no VW/Audi price increases. I could call them lying toe rag SE’s but I will wait until the end of October to make that statement.

There was certainly a VW price rise. I have a Polo on order (5 month lead time!) and beat the c.3% rise on Oct 3rd. Finance rates went up too.

I have been checking prices on the VW and Audi sites, specifically the Golf R and A3 that my daughter ordered mid/late September and those prices have not increased. Have they just increased certain models? I have not been checking finance rates.

I have just been quoted 11.4% APR by Porsche on their finance! Ouch.

11.4% jeez are VW finance moving into loan shark territory? Got to admit I’d go without the car rather than fork out that rate of interest.
