EVs are putting sports cars in the hands of people used to a Honda Jazz. One sharp movement with the accelerator pedal and these cars propel themselves quicker than most petrol cars and I foresee the ploughing into other cars and objects becoming a frequent event. My mini electric is literally electrifying. If I owned an insurance company I’d be very cautious when it comes to cover of EVs.
With Porsche, given all their cars have to come to a standstill in half the time they get from 0-60 that will surely have to limit the 0-60 and 0-100 figures.

Whatever the 0-60mph time is, Porsche claim that the same car will brake from 60-0 in half that time. E.g. 0-60 in 6 seconds; 60mph to standstill in 3 seconds. Frequently mentioned at Silverstone PEC.
