It was the nicest of the lot and the most enjoyable to drive. It was very confidence inspiring, which was in total contrast to the F12 which just wanted to bite your head off. The Cali T was the biggest pile of doo doo I’ve ever bought.. sold it after three weeks.

Cheers! To tell you the truth.. I had an order in for a Carrera T back in 2022 and was then offered the last build slot the dealer had for the GT3 Touring in August. I didn’t intend to “play the game” in order to get a slot, but inadvertently I probably did as I’d had two Macans, three Cayennes, 718 Spyder and 991.2 C2S in the past. I’m not a flipper either and use the cars as intended. I suppose that plays a part as well. I also introduced my father to the brand as well.

Hi there!FirstSeaLord wrote: ↑Mon Nov 06, 2023 9:15 amHa! I have been known to comment about the GT3's ride once or twice. Your spec sounds lovely. I often wish I'd gone for the cognac interior, having now seen a couple in real life. Look forward to seeing pictures of yours in due courseJon A wrote: ↑Sun Nov 05, 2023 11:15 pmSounds fantastic! I must admit I’m a big fan of the cognac/black interior myself but looking forward to seeing yours. A pal of mine (First Sea Lord on here) has a touring in agate with the darker yellow stitching on black from memory but either way it’s a wonderful motor.Scott Cowan wrote: ↑Sun Nov 05, 2023 11:00 pm
Cheers Jon, will do! I was going to add the spec code for the GT3 touring, but the configurator doesn't do the colour justice in the slightest.. It'll be a 1 of 1 in the UK (apparently), but I fully intend to use it properly, as I have all my cars in the past (put 5k on my last Huracan EVO rwd in just over a year).. The colour will be PTS Anthracite brown metallic, Neodyme coloured wheels and Exclusive manufacture Cohiba brown interior with 18 way seats. The configurator makes it look too brown. In sunlight it's almost agate grey with a mokka fleck, but the finish is almost liquid in appearance.
The only comment he might make is how comfortable it may or may not be on UK roads to put any reasonable mileage on, but that may be subjective and I’ll let him tell you about it
My thoughts on my car are here: viewtopic.php?t=13657
The engine really is quite something. The speed at which it revs, the mid range punch and the noise are all intoxicating. And the steering just feels very right.
I’ve just read your review on it and it looks amazing! It’s certainly whetted my appetite!! The ride will be interesting to compare with the Huracan EVO rwd I recently sold back to Lambo Edinburgh.. it was very stiff . Like you, I’ve opted for 18 way seats and I hope it doesn’t come on Cup 2 tires. Apparently you can’t choose any more.. My previous 718 Spyder did, and it was just on the right side acceptable. The engine I’m expecting to be more characterful than the V10 across the wider Rev range. I’ll certainly share some pictures. Here is an example of the colour on an RS

I have to be honest.. I can’t take credit for the choice... I was going for a dark metallic green but I wasn’t 100% happy with the choice as it’s a popular colour on a GT3. It was Ryan, the sales manager at South Lakes who was instrumental and said it was the best combo he’d seen. I would otherwise never have ordered a brown car, but I’m glad he persuaded me.
