Dick Lovett Swindon. I find them very good and get on well with the S/E so I’m glad to do business with them. Thoroughly recommend them. But then I haven’t had to pay for a service yet.

Jon A wrote: Tue Nov 07, 2023 6:21 pm Great news Crockers you will love it! SC overrated on a Macan imo and buttons are easy to press if needed (which they hardly ever are).
One thing… I thought you had a new T that you got in March? Why were you looking for another so soon??
When I locked down I put a deposit on another then. Thinking I wouldn’t lose too much if anything and ……..well markets change as do ideas. Also thought why leave all this money to people who don’t really need it. My main beneficiary recently got married to a Premier League footballer so she has far more than me now. lol.
Top man! I have quite come around to Papaya, partly because at least it is unusual- sounds like a great car 👍

Nice one Crockers, for me SC isn’t a deal breaker, the demo S i tested was Papaya with extended leather and papaya stitching, thought it looked good and a bit different to bog standard.

Congratulations. Always good to do a deal. I have an S with extended leather and without SC too. It may catch on. I guess a short wait for you to collect the car and for us to see the pics.

This a copy of the spec. Only thing I need to sort is a spare wheel.

My first drive in a Porsche was a 981 with SC and I really couldn't understand why it was there! Just f me with an engine which got 'stuck' in high revs!
I obviously don't understand it or deserve it!

Needless to say I bought a 981 without it and it gives me all the performance I need with paddles, manual mode, kick down, double tap.

Our Macan S also doesn't have it. Unless you are a fervent SC fan, don't worry.

I've been meaning to get a collapsible spare wheel too. £1,000+ from Porsche, £300-ish off eBay etc, but I'm not sure of the correct part number. Anyone?

We have a 911 and 718, neither of which have spare wheels for obvious reasons, and yet this concern never raises its head with these cars… 🤔
I suspect the truth is I am never going to be changing a wheel myself on the roadside (no matter where I am Col!)

I’ll ask if I can swap my spare over from the T. I expect they’ll say no it has to be sold as specced from the factory

Anyway do you guys think it’s well specced ??

I think it’s an excellent spec all the must have’s, most of the good to have’s and a few nonsense ones as well - perfect!
Just take the spare out, they’re not going to check and if they do, just tell them it was yet another Porsche cock up - you specced it but… 😂
