2024 Build Slots

Anyone had a firm 2024 build slot yet?

It is probably a little early for the actual build slot allocations to be known.

I would expect that in the next two weeks the SE’s will be contacting depositors for their final Build Codes for January builds.

Porsche have often closed for an extended period over Christmas and the New Year, but you will need to research what the planned Plant Shutdown period is this time arround.

End of the ICE Macan and possible price increase speculation seems to have dried up on here ATM

I received a confirmed build slot yesterday (10/11/2023) for a January 2024 build and have to finalise my spec early next week.

What OPC are you with and do you know what queue position you were?

I originally ordered a Macan S in March 23 for a March 2024 delivery but wanted to change to a GTS went to see OPC in August to see if I could change he said currently I am at the top of the Macan S list for build February / March next year but if I wanted a GTS he has 3 ordered before March and 13 on order for March / April 2024 he was awaiting confirmation of their GTS allocation for next year they would know around November / December.
I had a phone call last week from the OPC saying they have an allocation for 4 GTS Builds in January delivery in February he offered the build slots to those waiting for a delivery in March but no takers so he asked if I wanted the slot which I accepted. At this point they cancelled my Macan S order and replaced it with my GTS order. I locked my spec down yesterday I have a build slot of 17th January delivery to dealership around mid February, I asked the OPC if there might be a slight delay would they consider waiting for the new reg, they said they would try so let’s see I’m just happy I have secured a GTS build slot. Hopefully I have escaped any price increases but according to my OPC he doubts very much one is imminent. Spec code below, think I am one of the brave ones!!

"No takers" for March. That's interesting. OPC should not have a problem holding your car until March 1.
