Visited our static caravan in the lakes at the weekend to close it down for winter.
Saturday saw a scattering of snow, Sunday it was 4 inches deep and icy.
I don't have winter tyres, just 21 inch zeros.
The Macan was fantastic both days, was really impressed.

Did you alter your drive settings... off-road mode or anything?

Even our previous 'part-time' 4WD system in the 2016 X1 was excellent, passing stranded drivers at the sides of the road or spinning their wheels. We just sailed by.

Expecting even greater things of the Macan.

I do recall being in a snowy queue when in a 2WD car, someone stuck in front... A land rover came sailing past on the inside grass verge (covered in snow of course) it got so far then fell onto its right side. A ditch I suspected.

Macan was good in snow. Current one also surprisingly good even on summer’s - probably all the traction from engine hanging over back end.
…stopping, not so much… 😳

I have to say I'm SO bloody pleased for you all! I popped out earlier on an errand for Santa collected a box that would ONLY fit in with the rear seats forward so when I got home parked with a good four foot clearance to extract it. Took it indoors and hear a WHUMP, immediate though of snow falling of the roof, sadly not, investigation showed:

:o
That has skied about 5 or 6 feet! So yes, it drove absolutely fine, shame that parking was a little more challenging
I'll thank everybody for NOT, with the benefit of hindsight, pointing out the bleeding obvious but here's the result:

(I think the Berberis softened the landing slightly) it will be interesting to see how much goes beyond the PPF.
Interestingly, a quick look on ebay revealed a rear light for £699.99 + p&p and from Design911 for £398.30...

Oh Neil I’m really sorry to see this, I know how infuriating minor knocks like this can be, but to have it happen like this isn’t funny.
Hope you can get sorted without losing an arm and a leg 👍

Ouch! Look on the bright side though...there doesn't appear to be any damage to the metal

Thanks, Jon, got my smart repair guy coming for a look tomorrow although I expect it'll need the PPF removed to assess it properly, fortunately I'm not too precious about it, primarily its just a car, a good one but not the art work to be molly-coddled as some see them.
