Hi
I purchased a Porsche macan 2015 3.0 s diesel.
The TPMS light is on.
I’ve tried the reset procedure.. change wheel type and drive above 15mph but t it still persists.
What should I do next?
Appreciate any advice
Thanks
Ralph
Greetings - TPMS
Welcome Ralph,
Guess you have checked the tyre pressures? If they are all okay it’ll be a TPMS sensor and if they are the originals (2015) most likely a battery.

How far/how long did you drive for ? Mine took a good few miles to reset.
Hi
Thanks for the advice, tyre pressures are good.
I will take it to my tyre dealer who can check the sensors.
Do the sensors need to be paired with the car?
Thanks again
Hi, thanks for the advice, I’ve tried to reset twice and both times it comes up with the yellow tyre symbol after a couple of miles.Scooby_Doo wrote: ↑Sat Dec 16, 2023 6:28 pmHow far/how long did you drive for ? Mine took a good few miles to reset.
How do I tell which sensor is faulty or is it best to change them all. Are there recommended 3rd party OEM replacements?
Cheers Ralph

When I put my winter wheel set on, I drove about 6 miles and it didn't re-set. Left it overnight and it re-set after about a mile. Suggest you keep driving it for a while before getting it checked.Rolf wrote: ↑Sat Dec 16, 2023 7:46 pmHi, thanks for the advice, I’ve tried to reset twice and both times it comes up with the yellow tyre symbol after a couple of miles.Scooby_Doo wrote: ↑Sat Dec 16, 2023 6:28 pmHow far/how long did you drive for ? When I had the winter wheels fitted it came back to me all reset. Mind you that was at the OPC so they may have driven it out - I was too busy talking and drinking coffee etc etc.Scooby_Doo wrote: ↑Sat Dec 16, 2023 9:18 pmWhen I put my winter wheel set on, I drove about 6 miles and it didn't re-set.
