How to Upload Photos

Upload Pictures - how to:

On a new post or full reply window, type your message first then;

Click the green tree icon:

Click Choose File

Browse to your saved picture

Click Upload

Once uploaded the image should appear in the preview window. Click OK to insert into post.

Each member has an allocated amount of space. Max image size 10mb.

Images will remain in your upload folder which means you can then insert the same into different posts without having to upload again.

Some things to be aware of:

The forum doesn't rename images so make sure each filename is unique

The forum doesn't like symbols such as ! ' £ $ in filenames

Uploading from iphone, ipads - it is possible but each photo is named 'photo.jpg' by apple - therefore it will only allow you to upload once.

Yes / No... Uploading from iphone, ipads - it is possible but each photo is named 'photo.jpg' by apple - therefore it will only allow you to upload once. It is a big pain and something I'm trying to get the forum software developers to do something about.

This forum does odd things to pictures with rotation metadata. The best thing to do if you take a pic with your phone, is edit it, maybe crop it a bit, then save it. Your phone will probably save it the correct way up with 0º rotation.

It's what I do, anyway and works every time.
