I thought that might be of interest - I really do wish I could afford a 911

The one Millionth 911
A beautiful very individual 911, my mate has a 991 50th edition and it reminds me of that car - houndstooth interior and nice individual touches.

So special that he can’t even be bothered to keep his hands on the steering wheel! Just hope he is not influencing too many others to behave in the same manner!

If you can afford a new Macan, you can afford a (possibly pre-loved) 911!

It was at the FoS last summer. It's nice but they shouldn't have added all those matte silvery trim pieces - they don't suit it. Chrome would have been better if it was necessary to add tinsel.

The chemicals needed for chroming are probably illegal in Germany now!Wolands Advocate wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2024 11:00 am It was at the FoS last summer. Yes, I had a good look at it too at FoS last year.Wolands Advocate wrote: ↑Mon Jan 15, 2024 11:00 am It was at the FoS last summer. It's nice but they shouldn't have added all those matte silvery trim pieces - they don't suit it. Chrome would have been better if it was necessary to add tinsel.
It's an interesting spec, quite reserved in places and a little bit fancy in others. I can't quite understand what they were going for. But cool car, nonetheless.

Agree on the Tatra, but the T87, truly revolutionary at the time and copied by other manufacturers.
There’s an opinion that Ferdinand stole the idea / plans for the early 911 from a Czech colleague when they both worked at VW back in the day.

Hmm. That car isn't doing it for me at all. Think the 50th Anniversary ones are much better resolved
