Depends on what price point the new EV is set at. Rumours of £90k+ for the base car is a huge leap (and performance) over the current base Macan.

Yes, was a tongue in cheek comment. You’re right, you can’t really compare the two but I do wonder what Porsche will try and sell as it’s USP because it’s an EV SUV and there are dozens of them?
I suppose the badge will be the biggest draw??

If the Taycan is anything to go by, after an initial flurry I think it’s going to be a slow burn…🤭 oops.. meant slow take up.

Would seem strange for a base Macan EV to start at £90k, when the Taycan starts at £79,200. :?

Agree Simon. Imagine base will be around £60k but quicker than a GTS… 🥴

Almost certainly - many who prop the car market up are the 'keeping up the Jones'' types who don't care for performance or pedigree, but just want the badge because its the latest and better than their neighbours.

With that thought in mind, I'm not sure whether I should be happy I've sold my last GTS or unhappy I've ordered another one!!! :lol:
