Can the V6 run on either?

Gen 2 and 3 V6s definitely yes, but it’s generally better with a Super. I use Tesco Momentum 99 most of the time 😉

Not sure about Gen 1s

Yes, but I would use super unleaded.

Gen 2 S - I use super only. Seem to get a few extra miles out of a tank. Also helps that I have fuel card so get some extra pennies off per litre at Esso.

Always super here - though I did have to do one tank of regular one when I couldn't find super!

On the way back from an afternoon out today I stopped at a Texaco station , never been there before, with unleaded advertised at £1.35 / litre so picked up the premium 97 and started filling up. Glanced at the pump and 97 was £1.63 /litre , stopped filling immediately , will go to my usual place on Monday.
