The Super unleaded is classed as E5 - i.e up to 5% ethanol content. Standard unleaded is usually E10 which means up to 10% ethanol. Ethanol is the stuff in the petrol that can cause corrosion to engine parts. Personally I always use fuel with the lowest possible ethanol content for my 911 for that reason. At one time Esso supreme RON99 was even 0% ethanol but I think now they say up to 5% ethanol.

That the one via Porsche club Uk? How much do you get off per litre?
Not with Porsche club as that has annual membership of Β£75. I have a fuelpecker card through a limited company. Doesn’t cost me anything and I save 5p per litre. Look at an Esso card from Wex - don't quote me, but I think its Β£40ish a year and 5p off a litre or free if you have a Blue Light card.

It is a case of RTFM, where it does state the grade of RON to use.

There is also a caveat about using 95 unleaded in that heavy engine loads are to be avoided.

It also states the grade(s) of fuel to use on the sticker inside the fuel filler flap.

My local Shell adds 19p/litre for V-power over regular unleaded. Tesco is 5p over for 99 RON.
I veto Shell locally due to the owner's greed.

Yeah, understand that, but for me Shell garage is walking distance from my house and Tesco is a few miles away on a very busy retail park, so come to the conclusion even though Tesco Is cheaper I’m better off using Shell.

Certainly with Esso outlets those operated by EG (Issa bros.) have double the markup on Super compared to Unleaded than do those of Rontec (https://www.rontec-servicestations.co.uk/).
