The UK's new car colour popularity.

More than half a million (509,194) grey cars were registered in 2023 – a 22.6 per cent increase in volume on 2022 – as Britons continue to stick by monochrome tones....

To a large extent the predominance of grey is due to what manufacturers make available and grey is the current trend. I have an Ice Grey Taycan as it seemed the best option without needing to spend £7k on a PTS colour.
And there are probably only 3 or 4 colours in that list that I would actually buy.

I was surprised that black is still so popular.

Lovely colour but difficult to keep clean.

It's all about perception. Colour does not determine how dirty a car gets. If my black car was crayon it would be just as dirty but I wouldn't notice it as much. That said the only person who notices how dirty my car is, is, me.

Mine was Blue but turned a shade of Grey last week.

Worst colour I had was a company car Sierra, ordered blue and solid brown turned up 💩!
