That was my opinion when I specced it. In practice I rarely use it. There's so much torque that a gentle squeeze of the pedal covers 90% of overtaking. If I need anything urgently I switch to manuall with a couple of downshift taps and then control the gearchanges the way it should be.

I won't spec it again.
