Mutually exclusive terms I'm afraid - "OPC" and "aren't utterly useless". And that's UK wide let alone a reasonable distance from Leeds.

If I separate my experiences with Sheffield into: Sales, Warranty and Service then, actually the service element was fine.
Since Sept 2019: Masterclass, 2 oil changes, 20k service, MOT and 2 new tyres, no issues at all. Costs were: £413.17, £376.97, £501.30, £54.85 & the tyres were £10 more than the CostCo price, specifics not relevant coz they were 18" which yours won't be.
Sheffield are JCT600, same as Leeds, just saying...

Sales, just the common, "I'm doing you a favour" attitude from the SE who considered it MY job to manage his diary and remind him when he needed to do anything. Warranty, only issue was over the rear lights which turned into an insect mausoleum. I got a right run around from the Service Advisors, "we'll book it in"/promised calls not returned/eventually.. not a warranty issue. However, tge Service Manager called me within about 30 mins of my 1⭐ Google review going live, humble apologies, out of character, is covered by warranty, no charge for the touch up paint, please call me with any issues in future (aka, No more public reviews please).

What justification do you have for making such a sweeping statement?

Plenty of justification. Personal experience of Hatfield (latest instalment only today) Cambridge and East London, and you only have to read through the numerous posts on here to realise I am not alone in my opinions and it appears to be spread across the UK.
