Love the wheels, and love the stance with the spacers - looks a touch more aggressive for sure. I wonder what that does to turning circle and general handling.

Not a huge fan of the tinted fronts, but I respect your choices here, I can see the murdered out appeal.

I'd suggest, if you're going the whole hog, to lower it too. The base Macan really does ride too high. I've seen a lowered Gen 3 GTS and that looked sick enough for me to research into how to do it with the air ride (turns out, pretty simple) - but I never followed through.

The only thing I object too is called a Base a T - A T is more than just the body styling. It has a different suspension, dampening and rollbar setup which comes from the GTS.

Wouldn’t you just lower yours by pressing “low” on your air button??
I know I did and then just left it there from day one until the day I moved it on.

To be fair, in the early days of this forum (many years before the Macan T was thought of) some contributors did indeed refer to the base Macan as the 2.0 T. :)

I think it's refreshing to read threads like these rather than the usual 'what do you think of my new car spec?' or ' what colour shall I go for?'

Definitely needs lowering. Does it have PASM? Bilstein do a kit which will lower it and I think h&r might do lowering springs. Not sure about Kw?

Or you could go full on and fit an air kit. Have you seen s80bmx's Macan?

I think coloured porsche crest on alloys would look good too 👍

Haha, so -

What I mean is, you can 'set' those points where the air ride will level too (Low, normal, offroad) via what's called a droplink. It's a fairly trivial swap to change out the stock droplinks for aftermarket, but you need a ramp ideally.

If you put a shorter droplink in, the air ride computer basically think it's reached the correct height at a lower overall height. So your entire setting across the ranges is lower.

I saw a GTS that had a 20mm drop in all settings, and in 'low' it truly looked badass.

These are the droplinks:

I still might do it one day, you can do it with a jack corner by corner on your driveway, but it's a bit fiddly. Design 911 claim they've never heard of a warranty refusal because of these links, but im sure Porsche would give it a go if anything came up.

Great idea I think it would look great lower - what about “warrantyphobia” though… 😂
