8 years ago today, at the tender age of 50, I picked up my first, brand new Porsche.

Very proud moment, even though it was ‘only’ the 2.0 model.

Rhodium Silver. 8-)

Yep, I loved the blueish tinge to Rhodium.

GT Silver is, I think, a warmer version of a Porsche silver.

First 911 was Platinum Silver.

And on the very same day that you collected yours, we picked up ours and Mike his, and the Three Macaneers was formed

Have you had a test drive in the 2.0?.... you might want to test an 'S' back to back.....oh hang on....maybe too late!!!!!! ;)

Reason I went for 2.0 rather than SD was the much shorter wait, as I needed the car soonish to replace a company car. Back then, the petrol S was made from unobtanium and the GTS hadn’t even been launched. ;)
