For future reference a tyre dressing which includes a UV protection may be worth applying.
Chemical Guys products are usually pretty encompassing in their range.
My Gtechnic tyre dressing does not say it has UV protection but mine is garaged and I know that is not an option for you.

Jeeves puts something on the tyres after the car & wheels are cleaned. I’ll have to check what he uses.Col Lamb wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 3:00 pm For future reference a tyre dressing which includes a UV protection may be worth applying.

On reflection, I think you’re right.
The actual MOT certificate only refers to slight perishing on the fronts, saying ‘monitor and repair if necessary’ and the service adviser didn’t even quote for new tyres, let alone recommend them.
Think I’ll keep my £537 in my pocket for now.

You need to borrow some of that Clarins from the member on here who posted pics of his shiny macan the other dayWing Commander wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 3:14 pmJeeves puts something on the tyres after the car & wheels are cleaned. Correct with the dates Simon.Wing Commander wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 2:22 pmIf I’m reading correctly, rears are Week 20 in 2022, fronts are Week 35 in 2019.Nuclear Nick wrote: ↑Sat Mar 09, 2024 11:46 am How old are the tyres Simon? Exposure to strong sunlight doesn’t help but premature perishing might be worth enquiring via a Michelin dealer.
I think I may have a very slow puncture in the front left, so I might look to replace the front tyres.
Black Circles quoting £537.02 fully fitted for two fronts. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S N0.
Perhaps get a second opinion from a reputable tyre dealer, like ATS Euromaster (owned by Michelin, as are Blackcircles), especially if you suspect a slow puncture.
