I think this creates an issue rather than solving one. With the full screen you will now have to stab at least twice to move from radio to say, Spotify and visa versa. In the standard config, with the shortcut window to the left, it’s just one press??

Its my misses car and she uses Apple Music so not an issue

Like I said, if any of the Apple apps are used, it creates another action on the move to swap - just not sure what the gain is here, at least for widescreen CarPlay, although useful for the video watching

Not directly related but Euro NCAP are now baulking at the use of screens and non tactile buttons.

They are right that these massive screeens laden with menu after menu are a dangerous trend in vehicle design, with too much time screen prodding just to turn something on ie turn up the heating, turn on the wipers.

I know that for some reason I have trouble with the touch screen controls on our cooker and dishwasher.

Another one of my bugbears when getting the Macan was that Apple CarPlay wasn’t full screen.

Now I have full screen thanks to Innovative Softs. In advance I had to order a ugreen ethanet adaptors, ethanet cable, 32gb flash drive then Raymond took remote access of my laptop this morning to install is!

Again fantastic service and highly recommend it! See images below:

I also bought a media box off him as well so my 5 year old daughter can now watch YouTube or Netflix on the go

I prefer maps in full screen mode and use CarPlay most of the time, so no need to tap the screen as I find voice control works much better in CarPlay (for my use) than the original manufacturer voice control.
