Price increase

So, how does this work? I have an agreed build slot for June, and have my appointment tomorrow at the OPC to confirm spec. The GTS has just gone up by £1,700 today !! Should my confirmed build slot mean that I am on the old price?

I think you’re subject to price increases until your build is locked… There was a price increase from the time I ordered to the time of finalizing my spec and I had to suck that up, along with increased interest rates too! Very annoying but pricing and interest rates aren’t set in stone until your car is locked.

In rare circumstances on here I’ve seen OPCs honour prices/rates from the time of ordering, but not sure if there were other factors at play there.

Once locked your okay, you might be able to swing it with your OPC if it’s a matter of days?

I sent my spec last week and he was putting that on the system - only thing missing is heated GT steering wheel. If it means that I leave as is to secure the lower price, then that's what I will do, because that would make it a very expensive upgrade. I already have an invoice, with an order number, so hopeful that will stick. One of the reasons he pitched this slot was to avoid future increases because it was in the bag. Guess I will find out tomorrow !

Your car won’t lock down until its freeze date regardless of when your final spec was entered into the system, so whether or not you have to pay this price increase is really down to your OPC and how much of a “price promise” OPC they are… Good luck! Let us know what the outcome is tomorrow.

Looked like I was very lucky to get mine locked in yesterday with the spec sent to the factory. Not sure my wife will see it as a bargain or saving though..... Good luck OP in getting yours locked in at the previous amount.

Don't omit the heated steering wheel. It's been my favourite option over the winter.

I'd argue you should pay the pre-rise price just based on the fact the numpty missed putting on a key part of your spec into the system. Seriously, how hard can it be?!
