I have very sadly damaged the nearside doors on my Macan S.It looks like I may need two new doorsCry I have spoken to Porsche GB to get advice on where to take it as I want to make sure that they are fully trained on Macans and particularly skilled handling alloy panels if a repair was possible.
Have any forum members have any experience of Porsche approved body repair centres?I live in Suffolk and I have been given the names of Elite Motors Northampton and Lancaster Witham Body Repair Centre. These are the nearest to me.
Looking forward to hearing from anyone.

Bugger.

I've previously had the misfortune of needing a repair to my Boxster S where a very old lady crashed hard into the back of me while stationary at a roundabout junction (iirc she did about £5K of damage)....

What you need to look for is a "Porsche Centre Approved Body Repairer Network" member. This means they do repairs to an approved standard, using only genuine Porsche parts, and issue a Porsche repair certificate that guarantees the repair for (I think) 10 years.... if you get your Porsche dealership to verify the repair every two years.

The garage recommended to you http://www.elite-motors.co.uk/our-expertise.html have a link at the bottom left of their webpage saying they are Porsche approved, so all appears good Smile

Hope all goes well!
