Not sure any of us will ever experience the " understeer hop" on the current UK public roads......and if we do we probably won't retain our licence much longer

And what was the point taken in isolation? Surely to be at all meaningful there needed to be some point of comparison whether it be a perceived competitor, another Porsche or whatever!

Normally I would say that less is more - except for that report!

This vid is much older than June 2015 - I am sure I saw this back at the beginning of the year. Anyway, the hop/skip - I used to get a similar effect in an early version MR2 (the small one, but with tear-drop wheels, not the letterbox!), in that when drifting the car sideways the body used to shudder rapidly.
However, with all the anti-slip technology underpinning the handling of the Macan I do wonder what the official explanation for it is. I've seen other videos where the Macan is drifting on asphalt, sometimes wet, sometimes dry, and nothing resulted in the hopping effect the Fifth gear kids experienced - was their turbo PTV enabled?
Cheers
