Just a quick one! The front page is announceing the macan might be due after 2012! Probably needs a rewrite!

And in the news section, its worth putting something in there about the 2017 changes, and the new 4 cyclinder base model.

cheers guys! enjoying the forum so far!

Do we have any admins or would someone like to give me (Or maybe Col or Goron as they're so knowledgeable) access so we can update the pages?

It would be handy to sticky the odd topic as well to assist newbies.

I do not think that admin / forum owners visit here very often. LOL

Agree, that the front page is very antiquated and put together in a rush.

If you give me admin rights, I'd nuke it from orbit and replace it with something that wasn't steam powered :)

I've had some success in getting the Forum patched for image upload bugs by contacting Dan though.

Maybe PM him:

Yeah, definately need to sort out that weird photo upload bug!

We're on PHPBB on our other forum and it works great! And doesnt have the odd error we get here with cookies where the web browser knows what i've read, but switch to anything else and it cant remember!

There are lots of photo upload bugs, but the main one was only being able to upload a single photo from an iOS device. It still can't read orientation meta though so we have to suffer sideways and upside down images.

I'd move the whole thing to a stackoverflow type forum. If would kill of the million-page threads of waffle that wander so far off-topic, it's a wonder a n00b finds anything useful!

Thanks, things do need a bit of an update here!

I am going to try and move the platform off Webwiz, probably look to arrange that next year if possible. The issue is this forum is written in ASP and uses Microsoft SQL databases, all other forum platforms are in PHP and use MySQL databases, they are not compatible with each other and converting them is a pain!

I'll also look to update the home page too.

Finally, I would gladly add a couple of you as moderators on here if you would like to help out?
