I touched upon this subject a number of months ago and it was suggested it could be a heat shield which could be causing the issue.. I temporarily ignored it and planned to get it seen to at the OPC once it was time to changeover to my set of winter wheels and tires.. However it is getting steadily worse.. you can actually feel the creaking through the steering and this creaking noise is audible above the stereo now.. it doesn't affect the ability to steer, but I'm now thinking it could be something a bit more serious which may require rectifying sooner rather than later.. It now creaks from the slightest first turn of the wheel.. Has anyone else experienced this to the same degree? I have power steering plus if that makes any difference..
