Test drove one with running boards. I'd pay the extra NOT to have them. Rub on your trousers. Crap.

I would spec anything that makes the Macan more safe to drive anything that helps you avoid a collision, safety extras

I initially specced everything I thought I wanted…. Then over course of the year waiting for my build lockdown read all the post on here and managed to reduce my options cost by 65% focusing on things I could use, see or feel from the drivers seat!.
Too much bling on the outside and you risk it looking like a MB!

It’s a Porsche…the S at least has the engine from the previous GTS…the T has a 2.0 4-pot. Wouldn’t do it for me.
Better still the S has the engine from the current GTS…

Has anybody got the 21-inch Exclusive Design Sport wheels painted in Platinum silver on their Macan please ? It's difficult to judge just how light they are on the configurator.

Edit: Just found GTB's Gentian Macan GTS with them on - very smart (Car and wheels). Changing my order to the 21" Exclusive ASAP.

I thought I'd specced my Macan as I wanted it a few weeks ago, up to my original budget, but playing with the configurator since then has pushed me over by about £1000.00 and I'm now edging towards adding the Black extended leather package. How durable is it compared to the standard "plastic" finish ? and anybody regret having this option ?

Extended leather everytime, standard looks cheap by comparison.

It’s not about durability it’s more about looks. The standard plastic door roll tops for example, look exactly the same as those in a VW T-Roc. Not terrible but not what you might expect in a high end car?
Like I said, not terrible just “normal” 😂

It's the only thing I perhaps wish I had added to my spec - extended leather.

That said, the 'standard' GTS partial leather and race-tex is very, very nice and has attracted compliments. I think the race-tex thankfully distracts from the fact the top of the doors aren't leather.

If it was an S - so therefore without the GTS interior - then I'd say 100% get extended.
