I noticed the same on mine last week when cleaning Paul. I'm not sure if its a deposit or if the paint is pitted. Tried a little elbow grease but i didn't have time to do a full investigation so if anyone else has any ideas..........

Same on mine, not had a good go at cleaning them. Looks like it's been hit with a shotgun😮will try cleaning when weather permits.

Thanks all - nice to know I'm not alone......but a pain if the paint is pitting off

I might get chance to rub a bit of Autosol in tomorrow, it's not too harsh and at least I'll be able to see if it is just a deposit or not.

Just been out to the garage and checked mine, same problem. Tried various cleaning stuffs, black chrome cleaner, solve autosol, and finally green sourer, with no success. I'm almost certain its pitting, to much super unleaded.

Ooooh F**k. Same. Paint seems have come off. Anyone with the black Sports exhaust on the S or SD / Turbo with the same issues.

Looks like a visit to your OPC for what Porsche charges for these Black TaIl pipes they shouldn't be pitted,wouldn't have thought they were painted more like some ceramic coating?.

Although mine were silver they now look more like yours Paul. Black with silver bits. Think they'll take some cleaning
